Definition

Cancer of plasma cells in the bone marrow, leading to anemia, bone lesions, and kidney impairment.

Therapy includes proteasome inhibitors, immunomodulatory agents, steroids, monoclonal antibodies, and stem cell transplant for eligible patients.
